ACP Presents: Navigating Military Service and Motherhood
Balancing military service and motherhood comes with unique challenges and rewards. Join us for an inspiring conversation with Marissa Amerine Savells, an ACP alumna and former U.S. Air Force officer, as she shares her journey of raising children while serving and transitioning to civilian life.
Marissa served four years in the Air Force as an Assistant Staff Judge Advocate and is now a US Air Force Reservist. While on active duty, Marissa became a mom and had two boys while serving. Now, as Chief Counsel, International & Governance at Tyson Foods, she brings valuable insight into the sacrifices, struggles, and triumphs of military moms.
April is the Month of the Military Child, a time to honor the resilience of military families and the dedication of women service members balancing motherhood and service. This discussion will provide a space for veterans, service members, and military moms to connect, share, and gain valuable insights.
